Dataset methodology

Scope

ACR reporting where US data-centre construction, investment, capacity, power demand or location economics are central.

Inclusion criteria

The article must identify a US project, market, company or state-level investment theme and retain a dated source trail.

Exclusions and limitations

Generic AI software coverage, overseas data centres and articles without a material physical-infrastructure component are excluded.

Revision policy

The index is rebuilt from the publication archive as new qualifying reporting is added. Historical article dates and source attribution remain unchanged; new observations are appended rather than backfilled with inferred facts.
